ltd. Internet Services has implemented a new solution to
High Speed Internet in select areas. This service is comparable
to ADSL but is transmitted quite differently. A telephone line
is not required as it would be for ADSL. This service runs on
a dish-to-dish relay system. Your computer will transmit a radio
signal to an antenna through a special cable. The it is transmitted
to our servers and thus out to the Internet. This signal takes
only a few milliseconds to travel about 15 miles.
The speeds that you can hope to attain would be comparable to ADSL or higher
depending on the package that you choose and your proximity to our tower.
All upload and download speeds are symmetrical and packages range from 512Kbps
(8X faster that 56K modem speed) to 1.5Mbps.
